Designed to bring the same tools the big guys use to smaller businesses and other industry verticals, AppAddictive will offer dozens of easy-to-install applications for Facebook pages, including things like custom landing pages, photo and video galleries, static HTML, quizzes and more.

It’s a tool that could benefit big businesses as well as bands, bloggers, marketers, lawyers, doctors and investor relations professionals. Currently, over 5,500 businesses, including The National Guard are using AppAddictive, generating 30 million ad impressions per month from the 50 million users who’ve tried out the apps.

AppAddictive. This nascent startup lets users turn their fan pages on Facebook into something that can give the most elaborate websites a sheer run for their money. AppAddictive includes a series of applications that anyone can use to engage visitors in the strongest possible way.

While brands move to social media platforms to advertise and engage their users, it’s not always easy or very effective, especially as they try to branch out to multiple networks. AppAddictive, based in New York City, is working to solve that with a marketing platform that allows companies to manage their content, ads and analytics on multiple networks.

Mike Onghai, founder of AppAddictive, left a comfortable hedge fund to spend a summer with Philadelphia-based DreamIt Ventures, one of the top 10 incubators in the U.S, according to Forbes. When he arrived at DreamIt, he already had a user base of 50 million people but used the incubator program to transform his consumer-based model into a business-to-business model. AppAddictive is a social and mobile application platform geared towards publishing and advertising that allows businesses to publish apps without coding. Onghai recently acquired $1.2 million in seed funding for the company’s drag-and-drop tools for Facebook.
